How To Hide Files Behind The Images

There are some important files or document you want to hide from others on your computer. To do that you might be creating folder inside folder to hide such files but in today's tutorial i will change this by teaching you a interesting trick to hide files behind images. To hide a file behind a image means that if any one opens that image he will see this image, but to see the hidden file need to open that image in a specific way. So lets get started.

If you're looking to hide files on your PC hard drive, you may have read about ways to encrypt folders or change the attributes on a file so that they cannot be accessed by prying eyes. However, a lot of times hiding files or folders in that way requires that you install some sort of software on your computer, which could then be spotted by someone else.

Using a simple trick in windows, you can actually hide a file inside of the JPG picture file ! You can actually hide any type of file inside of an image file, including txt, exe, mp3, avi, or whatever else. Not only that, you can actually store many files inside of single JPG file, not just one ! This can some in very handy if you need to hide files and don't want to bother with encryption and all that other technical stuff.

Hide File In Picture :

In order to accomplish this task, you will need to have either WinZip or WinRAR installed on your computer. You can download either of these two off the internet and use them without having to pay anything. Here are the steps for creating hidden stash:

Create a folder on your hard drive, i.e. C:\Test and put in all of the files that you want to hide into that folder. Also, place the image that you will be using to hide the files in.

Now select all of the files that you want to hide, right-click on them, and choose the option to add them a compressed ZIP or RAR file. Only select the files you want to hide, not the picture. Name it whatever you want, i.e. "Hidden.rar"

Now you should have folder that looks something like this with files, a JPG image, and a compressed archive:

Now here's the fun part ! Click on Start, and then click on Run. Type in "CMD" without the quotes and press Enter . You should now see the command prompt window open. Type in "CD \" to get to the root directory. The type CD and the directory name that you created, i.e. "CD Test" .

Now type the following "copy /b Image file name with extension + Rar file name with extension Image file name with extension (must see the space and extension name, and the image file should be same in the first and last) " and press Enter. Do not use the quotes.

Just make sure that you check the file extension on the compressed file, whether it is .ZIP or .RAR as you have to type out the entire file name with extension in the command. I have heard that some people say that they have problems doing this with a .ZIP extension, so if that doesn't work, make sure to compress to a .RAR file.

And that's it ! The picture file will have been updated with the compressed archive inside ! You can actually check the file size of the picture and see that it has increased by the same amount as the size of archive.

You can access your hidden file in two ways. Firstly, simply change the extension to .RAR and open the file using WinRAR. Secondly, you can just right-click on the JPG image and choose Open With and then scroll down to WinRAR. Either way, you'll see your hidden files show up that you can then extract out.

That's it ! That is all it takes to hide file inside JPG picture file ! It's a great way simply because not many people know it's possible and no one even thinks about a picture as having to the ability to hide files.

How To Use JQuery To Manage Wordpress Sidebars

How To Use JQuery To Manage Wordpress Sidebars ?

Today i will tell you that how we can use JQuery to manage wordpress sidebars, recently i finished a work that pushed Wordpress farther than i have ever before. Essentially, each of the 18 categories was a micro-site with its own stylish and two widgetized areas.

That means 36 different widgetized sections !

When viewing the Widget page in the Wordpress Dashboard, the list of widget areas extend quite a bit below the fold. This made adding and managing the widgets extremely cumbersome. The obvious solution was to display only one widget area at a time.

Before writing any code, i like to flesh out the basics to may solution on paper. Some simple brainstorming lead me to the following goals.

  • Create an array of all the widget areas available.

  • Hide all the listed widget areas besides the first.

  • Insert into the widget page a drop-drown box containing a list of the widget areas in our array.

  • Whenever a user selects a widget area from the drop-down box, show that one and hide the rest.

We'll begin by creating file named widget-admin.js. Save this file somewhere in your theme directory. I prefer to keep all my JavaScript files in the js/sub-directory. We only want this code to be loaded if we are on the widgets page of the Wordpress Dashboard. To achieve this, add the following code to your function.php file.
// Custom Admin Sidebar Switcher
function sidebar_switcher() {
global $pagenow;

if ($pagenow == 'widgets.php')
wp_enqueue_script('fca_admin', get_bloginfo('template_url').'/js/widget-admin.js');
}
add_action('admin_print_scripts', 'sidebar_switcher');

By latching onto Wordpress's admin_print_scripts hook, our sidebar_switcher () function will only be run when we are in the dashboard. The sidebar_switcher () function checks if we are on the widget page. If we are, it tells Wordpress to queue up or widget-admin.js file.

The following code goes into the widget-admin.js that we created earlier. The comments should make it self-explanatory.
jQuery("document").ready(function(){
var sidebars = new Array(); // Create array to hold our list of widget areas
var selectorHTML, name; // Declaring variables isn't necessary in JavaScript, but it's good practice

jQuery('.widget-liquid-right .sidebar-name h3').each(function(index) {
name = jQuery(this).html(); // Get the name of each widget area
name = name.replace(/\s*<span>.*<\/span>/,''); // Remove extra <span> block from name
sidebars.push(name); // Add the name to our array
});

jQuery('.widget-liquid-right .widgets-holder-wrap').hide(); // Hide all the widget areas in list
jQuery('.widget-liquid-right .widgets-holder-wrap:first').show(); // Show the first

// Start <select> block. Position to the right of the "Widgets" heading.
selectorHTML = "<select id=\"sidebarSelector\" style=\"position: absolute; left: 400px; top: 68px;\">\n";

var count = 0;
for ( var i in sidebars ) // Add option for each widgetized area
selectorHTML = selectorHTML + "<option value=\"" + count++ + "\">" + sidebars[i] + "</option>\n"; // Store the index of the widget area in the 'value' attribute

selectorHTML = selectorHTML + "</select>"; // Close the <select> block

jQuery('div.wrap').append(selectorHTML); // Insert it into the DOM

jQuery('#sidebarSelector').change(function(){ // When the user selects something from the select box...
index = jQuery(this).val(); // Figure out which one they chose
jQuery('.widget-liquid-right .widgets-holder-wrap').hide(); // Hide all the widget areas
jQuery('.widget-liquid-right .widgets-holder-wrap:eq(' + index + ')').show(); // And show only the corresponding one
});
});

How To Write SEO Optimized Posts

How To Write SEO Optimized Posts :

Today i will tell you that how we can write SEO Optimize Posts, its not a top secret but this is about the basic optimization that everyone should apply in order to write seo optimized posts. And with these techniques, effort, and a bit of patience, you can occupy the best places in the search result of different search engines.

Obviously, not all scenarios are the same, neither all posts are positioned in the same manner, some might have greater competition than others depending on how popular is the topic that they handle, therefore when it comes to web ranking, there's no specific time that applies for all. Having said this, let's get into the subject.

Focus on a Topic :

Whatever the topic of your website or blog is, when you try to write a seo optimized post, focus on a specific subject that has a clear purpose, with no distractions. For example, if you write about "Laptops" , then the beginning and ending of your post should be only about it. Don't start talking about laptops and end up telling about what you have done last weekend. A reader goes to a page because is looking for a specific information. So, unless it it not a personal website ( where you write about your daily life ), do not deviate from the topic.

Define the Post Title :

The post title should be short to the point, so that you can briefly summarize the content of the post, but you should not abuse this either. Although it has to be concise, don't worry to "save" words which might be keys to the search.

Example : "Collection of all the Laptops that have been released last year on the market "

" The best Laptop of 2014 "

Clearly, the first one has not been defined very much, and second one is not only more accurate, but it also more relevant for what people are searching on the internet.

The Keywords :

Keywords are those term that the most people are searching for on the internet and you should try focusing on them when writing a post, these keywords need to be included throughout the entire post, but be careful to not over-stuff keywords into your content.

Example : "During the fourth week of the technology, there were many products that are utilized today, and the famous experts gave a speech on them "

" At the opening of the fourth Technology Week, the experts talked about various topics, including how to choose a laptop, has discussing about the hard disk and ram, and which are the best laptops. "

In the first example, we have written without paying attention to any terms. While, in the second one, we used phrases that are searched on the internet by the most users.

So, the most popular keywords should be included wisely without cluttering your posts with them, or it can be counterproductive.

Again, these keywords should be included in the posts title, as well.

Rely on Synonyms :

While it's a good strategy to use specific keywords, we should not limit ourselves to a single word. It is recommended using synonyms because users do not name things in same way and using less keywords, we can avoid leaving the impression that we are being too repetitive and insistent.

Example : " For those who like good laptops, Intel Laptops with core 2 Duo ."

" For those who like good laptops, Intel Laptops with 17" LED Screen With Best Processor. "

In the first example, we have repeated the word " laptops " twice. While in the second one, we used the laptop keyword once and changed the word " core 2 duo " with best processor.

This way, the reader will find a greater diversity of words and might enjoy the article more.

Using bold and italics :

A good practice when you write SEO Optimized Posts, would be to make the keywords bold by wrapping them in strong tags, so that they will stand out the rest. But keep in mind that this should not be done with CSS, but with HTML, i.e. they should not tagged with font-weight: bold; but rather with <b> or even better, with <strong>

Example : " For those who like good laptops, Intel Laptops with core 2 duo "

The result seem to be the same, but it is not. Although these three keywords are in bold, only one is more attractive to robots, which is the first.

Use External Links :

Some may say that we should not use links in the posts because this way we are giving away out Page Rank. This is not quite true. Using referral links to sites that have already shaped their credibility, will also help us to shape your own. Certainly, we should not flood our posts with links, but we can do it when is needed and especially with sites that talk about the same topics as our own.

Another important thing to mention is that, we should avoid putting the typical " click here " or similar texts. When you put a link, the anchor text should fairly descriptive.

Rank With Your Images :

Posts with images are not only visually appealing, but might help the reader to understand what you are talking about. So, whenever you can, use an image in your post to illustrate the writing, but don't overdo it. Many images or very large images can slow the loading time of the blog.

New And Relevant Content :

You should focus not only on writing many posts, but also making them relevant to your readers. New and original content is more attractive to the search engines, then a copy and paste. So try to write new stuff, even if you think that all has been said. Each person has a different way of saying things. Also, always get informed before writing a post. Do a search and see if the information is valid, based on that, you will gain the trust of your readers.

Final Words :

With these few techniques you can increase the chances of ranking of your posts higher in search engines. As i mentioned earlier, these are not things that no one heard about, but i know that many are beginners and may not know how to write seo optimized posts.

It does not hurt repeating that the results won't appear overnight, but with some effort and patience, you should see the desired result over time.
